What do I do when my sensor won’t connect?
If you see “Bluetooth Not Connected” on either the My Guitars page or on the Guitar Summary page, then the sensor is disconnected. Try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Check that Bluetooth is enabled
- Check that your phone or tablet is within range of the sensor. Bring the sensor right next to your phone or tablet when troubleshooting.
- Check that your phone or tablet and operating system is supported. Review the section, “Is my phone compatible with the TaylorSense App?”
- Check if there are any other phones or tablets within range and running the TaylorSense app. Turn off Bluetooth on the other phone or tablets and if this allows your sensor to connect, review the section on “How does the app work with multiple phones?”. Sensors can only connect to one phone or tablet at a time.
- Check your sensor’s battery and if needed, replace your battery. Make sure the sensor blinks red 4 times after resetting or replacing the battery.
- Ensure you are logged into the correct account if you have multiple accounts. Follow the linking steps to link a sensor to a different account.
- Check that your guitar states it is Linked to TaylorSense on the My Guitars view. If the guitar is unlinked, select the guitar and then select Edit in upper right. Scroll to the bottom of Edit My Guitar and select Link Now.
